"Im Grateful"

M-Dolla, has chosen the perfect time to awake from his musical hiatus. The blazing new single, “I’m Grateful,” offers his fans something different and unique musically. Perhaps, coming up in such humble beginnings, not only nurtured him as an artist, but also as an individual. For that reason, the title of the single is very fitting for the Philly-bred Emcee. In so many ways, M-Dolla has a lot to be grateful for, he’s grateful for his family, friends, his wellbeing, and of course his fans. Nevertheless, M-Dolla continues to grow as an artist musically and believes he can take Hip-Hop to another plateau. Indeed, the Beats By Tre produced track has a hypnotizing appeal that’ll keep his fans very pleased.

In such a crazy world, it’s very important to appreciate life and what it has to offer. It is true, it’s very easy to take certain things for granted, but at the same time, we all must realize and respect that nothing is for certain and nothing is promised. “I’m Grateful” is not only a song, but also a message, to those that take the time and listen. Moreover, if M-Dolla can continue to make music on this level, he’ll have even more to be grateful for in the near future.

In addition, the clothing line has received a significant response all over the Tri State Area through fashion and also through music. In so many ways, the music has been the launch pad for the clothing line to succeed the way it has. M Dolla Sign
, has definitely created a whole new wave with the introduction of the #AllSummerTSE Mixtape. M Dolla, was able to redirect the clothing line into a musical masterpiece by employing the sounds of some of the hottest artists out of New York. For example, Staten Island artists such as, Fes Taylor, General Ju, Cheekyy Dahot, Billy Da Kid, Zeekos Way, J Youngin, C. Black, and Solo SB. Indeed, M Dolla Sign continues to reinvent himself by creating new and innovative ways to deliver his music to the masses. Fes Taylor- "Insanity Genius"

If you mix talent and ambition together, the results are usually amazing. Indeed, that comes to mind when FesTaylor is the topic of conversation. The Harlem born and Staten Island raised artist knew at an early age that he wanted to become one of the most celebrated rappers to come out of New York. It is true; his Park Hill upbringing played a considerable part in his decision to become an emcee. At the tender age of 16, Fes would get his chance at stardom, becoming one of the youngest individuals to ever perform at Hot 97’s Summer Jam. Immediately after; Taylor’s name began to buzz, and from there the rest is history. In so many ways, Fes has continually demonstrated his ability to document his life experiences, and translate it through his music. Perhaps, that may be the reason why Taylor is so confident, he can change the face of Hip-Hop. More Importantly, with the release of “ Insanity Genius” I can almost promise you, if you don’t know who Fes Taylor is now, you’ll definitely know him after the release, then after, maybe the masses will then appreciate Taylor’s massive catalog. Nevertheless, the album has several solid singles, and it’s just a creative, artistic, and realistic creations of work, that’ll surly separate him from any other emcee you’ve ever heard before. Indeed, the single “Blackout” produced by JimmyNeutron, is a very catchy, and melodic head banger, that a true Hip-Hop fan would definitely gravitate to. Also, the contagious single “Let’s Talk About,” Taylor definitely bridged the gap with that one. Fes Taylor is doing it for the love of the music, and at the same time telling his story and giving a report on what he sees through his eyes. Moreover, allowing him to take it back to the true essence of Hip-Hop, when the words you spoke were really real. Therefore, it would behoove you to open your hearts and your ears and enter the mind of an insanity genius, which is Fes Taylor.

Str8Biz Presents: M-Dolla Sign- "Million Dolla"

Once again, M-Dolla Sign has reentered Hip-Hop with an extraordinary project.  The “Million Dolla “ album promises to be his best work to date. The PA-bred emcee offers his heart and soul on each and every track, and at the same time displaying his lyrical talents. More importantly, it’s very evident that he took a very meticulous approach in the creation and the construction of this unique work. M-Dolla has several smash singles on this project, including “On The Wake Up,” “IDKY,”  “I Heard It All ft. Big Baby” and several other jewels. Indeed, this album has more than enough of everything, and a little bit more; over the years M-Dolla’s music has become more polished and extremely refined. Perhaps, maybe his hard work will garner the attention of Hip-Hop fans, all over the world. Nevertheless, the emcee still takes everything in stride and remains humble, but keeps his hunger and continues his relentless approach.  Moreover, being an artist and to let your peers witness your maturation is a beautiful thing to observe. In my opinion, M-Dolla Sign has the ability to take music to new heights and become a force in the industry.

In addition, M-Dolla has just developed thedollastore.com, which gives his fans a chance to stay up on his music and to purchase MDolla and Str8Biz merchandise. The album is set to release in February, so trust me; “Million Dolla LP” is definitely worth taken a listen to. In fact, it’s something so unique, that it has the potential to skyrocket M-Dolla’s career and make him a household name. The emcee was able to enjoy a successful 2015, and from the looks of things “Million Dolla" will elevate him to do bigger and better things and also gain him the creditability he truly deserves. M-Dolla Sign has a message to give to the world, which he hopes individuals will understand and listen to. The Million Dolla LP is a project that’ll be talked about from years to come, and something real music fans will really appreciate and enjoy.

Bruce Lee "The Dragon"

Bruce Lee was widely regarded, as the greatest Kung Fu master of the 20th century.  Lee Rocketed to international stardom, playing the character Kato, in the television show, “The Green Hornet.  Immediately after, in his first staring role, “Fist of Fury”, Lee electrified the screen like no other. Indeed, the movie propelled Lee’s career to new heights, and helped him emerge as the greatest martial artist ever.  Lee had several other successful films as well, such as “The Chinese Connection, and “Way Of The Dragon”. Perhaps, Lee’s greatest work was the martial arts blockbuster,  “Enter The Dragon. It is true; this particular feature is arguably one of the greatest action films ever created. Lee’s films were entertaining, colorful, and spectacular.  Also, he kept his audience captivated and on the edge of their seats. More importantly, Lee was able to bridge the gap between martial arts cinema and the film industry. He paved the way for other actors, and up and coming martial artists. For example, Jackie Chan, Chuck Norris, Steven Seagal, Jet Li, and Jean-Claude Van Damme. Lee’s legacy continues to live on through these individuals.

Bruce Lee was not only an amazing martial artist, but he was also a devoted teacher, philosopher, actor, and filmmaker. In addition, he was the creator of the fighting style, Jeet Kune Do, or “The Way of the Intercepting Fist.” Lee was able to hone his style, by perfecting the teachings of Master Yip Man (Wing Chung).  Perhaps, through those early teachings, he was able to create his own innovative art form. Bruce Lee gave his heart and soul, and sacrificed so much for the betterment of martial arts.  Unfortunately, individuals such as Bruce Lee come once in a lifetime, and it seems we only got a glimpse of his greatness. His untimely death not only stunned the industry, but the world as a whole. On July 20, 1973, Bruce Lee died at the tender age of 32. The official cause of his unexpected death was brain edema, which was caused by a sensitive reaction to a prescription painkiller. Nevertheless, many concentrate on how Lee died, instead on how he lived. Bruce Lee was the real deal, an irreplaceable force, which shined like the sun. Moreover, he left a lasting impression on us all, and ingrained his legacy in martial arts forever.

King Of Reggae

Bob Marley was one of the most influential artists of our time. Marley’s music has touched so many individuals, not just Reggae lovers, but people all over the world. Indeed, he was the voice of the people and the struggle that existed in Jamaica. In addition, his political power and his revolutionary approach seemed to enhance his following as a musician. Bob Marley was considered to be a musical genius that created a vivid picture of life through his eyes. In my opinion, his musical approach was totally opposite from any other artist of his time. He possessed a different sound that could captivate any audience at any given moment. For that reason, he’ll always be considered as one of the greatest artists of our time.
Bob Marley was born in St. Ann’s Parish, Jamaica; he left home at age 14 to pursue his musical career.  Soon after, he became a student of the Rastafarian movement, which defined his signature Reggae sound. After Marley honed his style the group the Wailers were formed. The group members included Peter Tosh, Bunny Livingston, Junior Braithwaite, Beverley Kelso, and Cherry Smith. The Wailers were able to compose several mainstream classics, which made them musical icons. Indeed, Bob Marley led the Wailers to instant fame and many fans all over the globe. Some of the songs that helped launch the Wailers to success were “ I Shot the Sheriff” and “Burnin”.  As Marley’s fame intensified he was viewed in Jamaica as a figure of mystical proportions, and was looked upon as a prophet. Before the release of their second album Natty Dread, Peter Tosh and Bunny Livingston left the group to pursue their solo careers. During that time Jamaica was experiencing a very difficult political struggle. Marley took the struggle head-on and helped the individuals of Jamaica unify as a people. On the other hand, by him having political ties left him exposed to certain dangers. In 1976 an assassination attempt took place on Marley, which seemed to make the Reggae star have even a greater following. It is True, Bob Marley was with us for only a short time, but he made his mark as a musician and as a political figure. Moreover, he took a style of music and made it his very own. For that reason, the world will always consider him to be the king of Reggae.
